The Age of Aquarius
Feb. 3rd, 2021 03:25 pmIf a child doesn't listen to the lessons their parents teach, then they are obliged to learn those lessons the hard way through painful experience. This also happens to the children of absent parents: even if they are inclined to listen, they must learn all their lessons the hard way, since there was nobody to teach them. Said another way, the student must pay the price of either being a poor student or having a poor teacher.
Moses put this as
I have been wondering... if we are indeed in the Age of Aquarius, under the harsh rule of Saturn, near the epitome of materiality and as distant from the gods as possible... are we children all being punished for our parents being absent?
(The answer, of course, must be "no:" I have been told, repeatedly, often, and through multiple means, that I am not being punished for anything. But I'm still not quite sure what lessons I am still being pushed to learn, except perhaps endurance long beyond the point of exhaustion. Maybe it's time to meditate my way though Job, again.)
Moses put this as
I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me.This always struck me as cruel, but it certainly seems to be the way the world works.
